What I'm LOVING Wednesday

I'm LOVING that I've been cooking dinner the past few nights. I really enjoy cooking and don't know why I get in ruts where I don't cook. I made some REALLY good Chicken Alfredo tonight for dinner. If you'd like the recipe, go here:

I'm LOVING that my hubby is working so hard on our house and can't wait for the tile to be done!

I'm LOVING that it's getting closer and closer to Halloween. I really need to start working on projects NOW.

I'm LOVING that I get to go to St. George on Saturday with my girls Meagan and Brittney for a fun shopping trip.

I'm LOVING that I feel on top of my school work. I know it's only the second week, but I like only having 2 classes to worry about.

I'm LOVING that Meagan and I saw The Help on Monday and it was SO good. I highly recommend it.
I also LOVE that we stopped and chatted after the movie.

I'm LOVING that I'm starting a new way to follow our budget, which includes using cash instead of cards. Thanks to Meagan for this too, haha.

And last but not least, I'm LOVING my sweet, hard working husband!

TWO Barn Owl Primitives Giveaways

EEK! I'm here to talk about TWO amazing giveaways, BOTH FOR BARN OWL PRIMITIVES GOODIES:
First, Tatertots and Jello is hosting a giveaway for a $100 shop credit to Barn Owl Primitives!
Also, Little Miss Momma is hosting a giveaway for a JUMBO sign from Barn Owl Primitives!
ISN'T THAT AWESOME?!

I've won a small giveaway from Barn Owl Primitives before and I hope to win again!
I don't have a picture of it, but I won an ADORABLE sign that said "Pumpkins 5 Cents," and if I win either of these giveaways I'm definitely going to request this sign:

Isn't it ADORABLE?
I LOVE IT!

If you love it too, or love cute signs in general, check out the Barn Owl Primitives Etsy Site or head on over to Tatertots and Jello and enter to win one giveaway, or Little Miss Momma to win the other giveaway.
GOOD LUCK!

I may be a nerd...

I may be a nerd, but I'm SO STOKED TO SAY that you can find THREE of my projects/ideas on Pinterest!
How did I find out you may ask? Well thanks to the lucky "stats" button I talked about a week or so ago.
The stats button can be found right on your homepage and I highly recommend clicking on it to see what you find:

Today when looking at my stats, I noticed that one of the traffic sources was a Pinterest site.
When I clicked on it I found my lump-less pillows tip, which was AWESOME, but in the corner I noticed something that made me even happier...

Isn't that AWESOME?! I feel like I'm famous or something, haha!

With all this excitement, I figured if others want to check out my ideas that you might like to too, so here are some quick links straight to the projects that have been pinned:

Here's the link to my post titled: A Helpful Tip where I talked about how to wash and dry your pillows without leaving them lumpy and deformed.

Also, here is the link to my post titled: The Many Reasons Why I Love You where you will find two projects! One is a present I did for Andrew where I gave him 22 gifts with 22 reasons why I love him:

The second project was Andrew's present this year! I gave him a book that mentioned 24 reasons why I love him that I will add a reason to each year:

I hope that you guys enjoy my projects and ideas! I'm so glad that people enjoyed them enough to pin them and I hope to share more fun projects in the future.

Payton's Sweet Shoppe

Every 24th of July my family heads up to Panguitch, Utah to celebrate Pioneer Day.
While we were there I happened to ask my sister how she was going to decorate my niece, Payton's, birthday party which was coming up in September. She had mentioned that she had already bought her an adorable dress with cupcakes on it but wasn't sure of a theme. All she knew was she didn't want to have a princess party like everyone else.

This is where I come in, haha. I am a major blog and Pinterest fan so I knew that I could find some adorable ideas online. Then I remembered seeing my friend Melinda's post in June about her daughter's Sweet Shoppe Party, and I knew that Payton's party had to be Sweet Shoppe themed as well. I mean, she already had the dress to match, so it had to be done. I showed Lindsay Melinda's party pictures and right away she agreed with me that it was the perfect theme. We got busy planning and decided it needed to be very PINK, and I was deemed the party decorator.

I started on Pinterest where I made a board dedicated to ideas for the event. I basically pinned every pink party that I thought was adorable and started brain-storming. I headed to Hobby Lobby and found the perfect pink paper for the event, downloaded fonts to make labels, and slowly but surely got to work on the decorations.

I'm so happy Lindsay let me help with my adorable niece's first birthday party. I think everything turned out cute for my first official party where I made my first banner, first mini banner, and first cupcake toppers, but I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking:

WELCOME TO PAYTON'S SWEET SHOPPE:

THE SWEETS AND TREATS WITH THEIR LABELS:

Pink chocolate was a must.

The goodie bags for the kids to take left over treats home with them.

THE YUMMY SMASH CAKE AND CUPCAKES FROM SAM'S CLUB WITH THE CUPCAKE TOPPERS I MADE:

The cake was absolutely adorable. LOVE the bow.

THE BALLOON CHANDELIER:

THE HIGHCHAIR DECOR WITH A MINI BANNER:

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE BIRTHDAY GIRL HERSELF:

Isn't she SO adorable? She melts my heart and I'm so proud to call her my niece. She didn't get as messy as we thought, but I think she enjoyed her cake still the same. I'm so glad I got to help with her special day and hope she'll look back at pictures and love her first birthday party, because I know I sure loved decorating for it!

What I'm LOVING Wednesday

I'm LOVING that the weekend is almost here.

I'm LOVING that my niece's first birthday party is this Saturday and that I get to decorate...I better get busy tomorrow finishing everything up though. This month really went by WAY too fast.

I'm LOVING that I created a reasonable budget and can't wait to strictly follow it.

I'm LOVING that our house is coming along more and more each day.

I'm LOVING that Andrew found this amazing dresser for me at DI this week:

He painted it white for me today and I can't wait to add the glaze and decorate this table. It's going to be AMAZING.

I'm LOVING that it's almost time for the holidays and can't wait to have tons of parties and do tons of crafts.

I'm LOVING my motivation to work out and can't wait to start my strict workout plan tomorrow.

I'm LOVING that my boss helped me list out 31+ Halloween movies so I can watch one movie each night of October.

I'm LOVING that we are working to get ALL our tile done by September 17th when we have our Pajama Party.

I'm LOVING all the fun exciting things that are happening.

And as always, I'm LOVING my sweet, hot, hard-working man.
