Losing Weight With the Lawrences: Week 1

TA-DA!
As promised...today was WEIGH IN DAY!
And...I AM HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS.

I LOST:
3.2 LBS!

I am SUPER stoked. Especially since I started on Tuesday, and weighed in on Friday. Normally you are supposed to wait a week but I wanted my points to start over on weekends.
I know Weight Watchers works and I'm just excited to have this motivation and get everything back on track.
If any of you are looking to lose weight, I highly recommend Weight Watchers.

Also, just for fun (even though I HATE this picture)...I thought I'd post a before picture.

I know I posted a picture a few months ago...but to take your own picture and to have someone else take a picture of you is TOTALLY different.
I'm the 5th person (with the black vest on).
I was NOT happy with how I looked into this picture and needless to say I am making changes.

Last night I went to Jazzercise, then came home and ate dinner. After dinner I had the urge to go on a run so I went on a short walk/jog with the puppies and while I wasn't able to jog for REALLY long distances I was really proud of myself. I also am starting a running group with some friends and we are planning on doing the Run With Santa 5k in December! I'm so stoked. After running I also did a workout I found on Pinterest which I am going to do EACH day.

Here it is if you're interested:

Let me know if you decide to do it so we can chat!

I basically have workout fever and I hope it doesn't go away!
What get's you moving?!

Losing Weight With the Lawrences FOR REAL

I know what you are thinking....you promised a few months ago you would STICK to this.
You swore up and down that that was your last straw and you were ready to make progress.
You were supposed to update EVERY week....yet only ONE post was made.

And while I agree with all those things you are thinking, I am here to say that I am BACK and ready to ROCK AND ROLL.
The pictures I am seeing are NOT who I see in the mirror.
The number on the scale is NOT what I want to see.
And I am NOT the healthy person I want to be.

SO I JOINED WEIGHT WATCHERS ON TUESDAY!
I am SUPER stoked!
While it won't be a full week...I am weighing in TOMORROW to see how my first few days went.
I have to text my sister each Friday to tell her how I did.
As a result, I will also post on this blog my progress so I have not one person...but the whole wide web keeping me accountable.

I'll post again tomorrow but I just wanted to let you all know that I am MOTIVATED this time.
I am working out.
I am HAPPY.

What I'm LOVING Wednesday

I'm loving that I get to go to go to Panguitch, UT so soon.

I'm loving that (while they were expensive) I have all new tires and will be safe on the road.

I'm loving that unexpected strangers were willing to help me last night when my tire went flat.

I'm loving my family and that I know I can call them whenever I'm in need.

I'm loving my house and that we are making it into the home we dreamed of!

I'm loving that my house is getting cleaner by the day.

I'm loving pinterest.

I'm loving the idea of starting a family so so soon and will do so when the time is right.

And as always, I'm LOVING my amazing husband and all he does for me. He works so hard for our family and I don't know where I'd be without him.

What are YOU loving this week?

And I thought I loved you then...

Have you ever heard the song "Then" by Brad Paisley?!
If not...you need to listen to it pronto.
It is our wedding song and every time I listen to it, it reminds me of how much I love my husband.

The other day Andrew had to leave on a job and after I said bye to him our song immediately started playing in the car.
It only took a few words of the song to make me start crying. It's THAT good.
Here is the video so you can hear for yourself how good it is:

Not only is that song amazing, but have you heard Brad Paisley's songs in general?
He honestly melts my heart and a TON of his songs seem to relate to Andrew and I.
The fact that Andrew played me "She's Everything" when we were dating probably adds to why I like his songs so much.
I encourage all of you to check out those two songs, if not more.

Anyways...I just wanted to gush about how much I love my husband for the hundredth time.
I don't know how I got SO lucky to meet Andrew, but I'm so grateful that I did.
He's honestly my best friend and the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I'm so blessed to have such an amazing man in my life and I seriously can't stand to be a part from him.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH HONEY!
Thank you for being all I've ever wanted and everything I need.

Families are Forever

Lately I find myself wishing I was surrounded with more good friends. Ones that believe in the same things I do. Ones that stand behind me and support me. Ones that want the same things out of life and have similar goals.

But then, after I think of how fun it would be to have people to always call or text. People that would be there at the drop of the hat, and people that don't care if you sit and complain to them about whatever meaningless problems you are having. I realize that I DO have that.

I realize that my husband and family ARE always there for me and are all I need.
I will always have them with me. FOREVER.
I am blessed enough to be sealed to my husband for time and all eternity. I get to learn and grow with Andrew each and every day. I get to come home and talk about work with him. I get to plan silly dates with him and dream of our future together. I get to plan trips with him and experience the world with him.

And after I realize this, I remember that I have no reason to sit and wish and wonder about what friends will come and go. Because no matter what, I'll always be sealed to the love of my life. For time and all eternity.

Also, not only do I get to spend time with Andrew forever, I am also sealed to my family. FOREVER.
No single thing is more amazing and comforting than knowing that fact.

I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of the gospel. I am grateful that I get to learn more about the gospel each and every day. I am grateful for my Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the spirit I feel and for the chances I have to share the gospel with others. I don't know what I would do without the gospel in my life and am so grateful for the impact it has on me.

Wishful Weekends

HELLO!
Sorry I have been MIA in blog land lately.
I went on a WONDERFUL needed vacation to Kauai which left me spending time relaxing rather than behind the computer.
It was WONDERFUL.

Now that vacation is over, however, and I have been home a couple weeks now, I think it's time to get back on track.
Because of this, I am going to introduce topics to write about to keep me on track.
To start, I'll introduce "Wishful Weekends."
This will give me the chance to share with you any of my current hopes, dreams, wish lists, etc.
Please feel free to join in on the fun! :]

Isn't this bag SUPER cute?
I wish I had this adorable purse right now.
Urban Outfitters is my go to store for purses. I always find ones I LOVE.
While looking for a cute white purse, I spotted this baby and think I may need it.
I don't have a cute brown purse and this one would definitely be a great addition to my purse collection.
Has anyone seen any cute white purses recently? I really think it would be a great accessory to add to my collection.

I wish I was on vacation with my hubby.
Luckily we don't have to wait much longer until we are in beautiful Panguitch, Utah on our annual vacation.
I honestly can't wait.

I wish I was at my goal weight.
Luckily I started going to Jazzercise again more regularly and plan on keeping it up.
I'm also going to water aerobics starting on Monday and I'm super stoked.
Once I make it to goal we will be one step closer to starting our family.
I can't wait to become a mother and look forward to the day I become a mother.

I wish our house was done, but we are getting closer and closer each day.
Our front room is practically done now, beside a few odds and ends things I want to buy.
I need a long, skinny entry way table, some pillows, and a rug and I'll be a happy camper.
I also will put some pictures up to make the room complete.
The next room I hope we do is our bathroom or kitchen. YAHOO!

I wish to someday finish my long list of current craft projects.
Hopefully this upcoming week will be a major crafting week for me.
Are you doing any fun projects?

I wish to someday go to Paris.
After seeing Monte Carlo today, it definitely makes me want to go there on vacation.

What are you guys day dreaming about?
