brrrrr

I don't know if it's because I went tanning and got a little red, or if it's just the house, but I am FREEEEEEEZING! This is no bueno, especially since I am leaving for SLC/Logan tomorrow at 7 am. I left Logan for a few reasons, ONE OF THEM BEING THE COLD WEATHER! Hello freezing weather tomorrow, either way. My sister is worth it though. I'll just keep telling myself that. And as for the tanning, hopefully I look like THIS for my wedding, INCLUDING the hot bod! hahaha.

:]

I have no doubt in my mind that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church upon the Earth. I know it honestly, and whole-heartedly. I am so grateful for the many blessings Heavenly Father has given me, and that I have a knowledge of the gospel. My life is so much better now that I have a better understanding of the church and its teachings, and I am honestly so much happier. I have been blessed so much with a family that loves and supports me and a fiance that truly is my other "whole" and eternal companion. I cannot wait to be married for time and all eternity to my best friend on January 2nd, 2010 and know that through Heavenly Father's plan and if we keep our covenants we can be together forever and return to live with Heavenly Father again. I am so grateful for the power of prayer and the effect it has on my life. I am also grateful for the scriptures and the knowledge they contain. I know if we continue, or even start, to read our scriptures daily and pray always we will have a stronger relationship with our Heavenly Father and feel his love always. I am so grateful for the prophet, as well as past prophets, who guide and direct us in these latter days. I am grateful for their knowledge and the spirit they bring to us. I am so very grateful for the power of the atonement and for our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that if we repent for our sins and have a change of heart we have the ability to return to our Heavenly Father and also have the ability to be happier upon the Earth. I know this from experience and thank Heavenly Father everyday for his love. Again, I am so very grateful for the church and for all that it stands for. I am proud to say that "I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know who I am, I know God's plan, I'll follow him in faith. I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ, I'll honor his name. I'll do what is right, I'll follow his light. His TRUTH I will proclaim."

Wedding Update: Getting things ACCOMPLISHED

Today was a very fulfilling day! I took my math final this morning, I KNOW ON A SATURDAY?! I think I did pretty well. After that I worked on the invitations a bit then got ready and went to get my temple clothes! I got EVERYTHING taken care of at the Distribution Center. Now I just need to go to Deseret Book to get my temple bag and a few other things. I can't wait to go through on the 26th. I'm upset I can't already go through because next weekend I'll be in Salt Lake AND Logan, where two BEAUTIFUL temples are. I'll just make Andrew take me to them in the future! :]

After that Andrew and I skipped watching the fights and eating yummy JMacs with the fam to go eat A&W (which was okay, it's the old fashioned one in BC) and work on invites. We got ALL HIS FAMILY'S TAKEN CARE OF! Thank goodness. There are only like 4 that we need to verify. And other than that, there are a few on my family's list that need verification. THANK GOODNESS for my fiance that tried to help me the best he could, my mom who did SO MUCH, and Andrew's Momma who helped as well. I'm so grateful to be done with those babies.
This was taken a week or so ago, but all these invitations tuckered my poor baby out.

Aside from invitations and wedding planning, WE GOT OUR HOUSE. I don't know if I already mentioned that, but I'm just SO GRATEFUL for how blessed I am. As promised, here are some pictures:
THE DAY we got our house, Andrew surprised me before I even went over with Christmas lights. He is the best fiance a girl could ask for. I'm glad there are only 28...now 27 more days until we are married for time and all eternity. :] Back to the house details: It's a 3 bedroom, one bath house with a living room, family room, laundry room, back yard, doggie door, etc. etc. It's a PERFECT house for Andrew and I to start our lives together and he's already starting to spruce it up, as pictured below:
This is our front room, which will be the fancier of the main living areas since it is what you first walk into.
This is our kitchen. Andrew has MANY plans for this room as well. It will be JUST fine for now though. :] As long as I can make my honey dinners!
This is part of the addition that was added onto the house. It is going to be our main living/dining area. Excuse the mess in these pictures now. We aren't really worried about looks til the end of December when I'll start moving in my stuff! :]
This is the only bathroom in the house. A little small, but perfect none the less!
And this is another room that was added. It will be our bedroom where all the magic happens. Hahahaha. Anyways, I have BIG plans for this room and can't wait to add my special touches to the whole house. I'll post more pictures on facebook, I only have a few more but I don't want to post them on here.

Other than all that, I'm just finishing up Christmas shopping and finishing up the wedding plans. We have watched Jackson (we as in my parents and I) the past two days and I CAN'T WAIT until Andrew and I are ready to have kids. He's so dang adorable and yesterday we got to go to Red Robin for lunch, walk around the mall and see the Christmas stuff, and then went to the airport to watch the planes come in. It was so simple yet fun.

I just love my life and am SO VERY BLESSED! I'm so grateful for the atonement of Christ and all Heavenly Father has done for me, and continues to do for me everyday. My life is seriously so good and I'm so lucky to have a fiance that loves me so much!

I hope everyone else is having a great last few days of classes and GOOD LUCK ON FINALS! :]

HOLLA, HOLLA!

Today is officially the last day of classes for me. All that is left is final exams! YIPPEE! I'm so excited to be done with this horrible semester. I was doing so good, but math, I think I might have to take over again; it all depends on how I do on my final THIS SATURDAY! Dun Dun DUN!

Other than school stuff, which I haven't put 100% into, I've been planning my wedding to my best friend, Andrew Richard Lawrence. Yesterday we went and got the tuxes all squared away, as well as finished addressing the invitations other than Andrew's parent's list, which will be done tonight or tomorrow. Also tonight, we have our interview with the Stake President to get our Temple Recommends. I'm so excited to be able to marry Andrew for time and all eternity in the right place at the right time. I'm such a changed person from who I used to be, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm the happiest I've ever been and I hope and pray that I will continue to make the right decisions in the future, raise my children in the church, and learn from all my mistakes in the past. I'm just so happy with where my life is and where it is going.

So when it comes to the wedding planning, let's go through the checklist:

As far as Christmas, I have some shopping done, and I'm already returning items I decided I don't want/need. I'm also doing a surpise gift (with Andrew's support as well) that I'm really excited about. I just need more money if I want to get all I plan on giving. The Credit Card idea is no bueno. Good thing I have one of my Credit Cards TOTALLY payed off. Now I just have to work on the other one.

Either way, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CHRISTMAS SEASON! I can't wait to watch more Christmas Movies with my honey and move Andrew into OUR HOUSE! :] I'm so grateful to be a 19 year old who found her one true love, is getting married in the Las Vegas Temple, has the cutest puppy, has a job, is getting an education, has a family who loves and supports her, and has a house. I'm SO SO SO SO SO blessed and I thank Heavenly Father everyday for all I have. I'm so grateful for the way my life is going and for the person I am today. I hope I can share my joy with others, especially this Christmas Season and I hope everyone has the Christmas they were hoping for. I can't wait to get the rest of the Christmas Decorations out as well, because that is one of the best parts of Christmas! :]

I know this post is kind of disjointed, but I just wanted to update since I haven't in so long. I hope everyone is doing well, and excited for school to be done! I better work on my math homework though so I gotta go! :]
